The project concerns the doubling of the Orte–Falconara railway line, involving approximately 9 km of new alignment between the Genga and Serra San Quirico stations. The intervention aims to enhance the capacity and reliability of the line, benefiting both passenger and freight traffic.

Salcef Group is responsible for the construction of the new railway infrastructure and the related specialist works, including track works (ARM), overhead contact line systems (TE) and signalling systems (IS).

The Orte–Falconara line forms part of the TEN-T (Trans-European Transport Network), a strategic corridor linking the Adriatic port system with the Tyrrhenian backbone. The upgrading of this line contributes to the development of an efficient, sustainable and interoperable railway corridor, promoting freight transport by rail and strengthening the integration of the national logistics system.
