Salcef grows in 2021

The Salcef Group has achieved excellent results in the first quarter of the year, with figures showing clear growth compared to the same period in 2020.
The company’s Board of Directors approved the Interim Management Report, which records important increases for the first quarter of the year, on March 31, 2021.
In the first three months of 2021, the Group achieved an increase in revenues of €25.6 million (+37.8%), rising from €67.8 million in 2020 to €93.4 million. This significant improvement is mainly due to growth in the Group’s core activities and the acquisition of the US company Delta Railroad Construction Inc., in September 2020.
All the figures recorded appear positive. EBITDA in the first quarter stood at €21.2 million compared to €17.1 million in the previous year (+23.8%), EBIT increased from €12.3 million to €14.6 million (+18.7%). Adjusted Net Income increased by 41.5% to €11.6 million compared to €8.2 million in the first quarter of 2020. The Adjusted Net Financial Position as of March 31, 2021 was positive at €59.7 million, up almost €40 million compared to that reported as of December 31, 2020.
Finally, the Backlog is €567 million, a figure equal to approximately 1.67 times revenues in 2020, which guarantees the Group’s work for more than 20 months. This result was obtained mainly thanks to the work carried out by all the Group’s operating Business Units, and particularly by Track and Light Civil Works and Energy Units.
