The new issue of Sustainable Track

Work on infrastructure to aid recovery is the focus of the in-depth articles in the magazine’s latest issue.
The fourth issue of the six-monthly magazine on mobility and current affairs edited by Salcef takes a look at some of the most important infrastructure development projects in action thanks to the initiative of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), to modernize and upgrade transport in Italy and abroad.Â
There are several in-depth articles on the situation in Italy: starting with a reflection by Enrico Giovannini, Minister for Sustainable Infrastructures and Mobility, on the work needed to widen the rail network and achieve an environmentally conscious transition towards sustainable mobility. The magazine continues with an article by Luigi Ferraris, CEO of the FS Italiane Group, on FS’s future commitments to innovation and to connecting the peninsula.
In a conversation with Alberto Mazzola, Executive Director of Cer, on the Ten-T corridor and the new challenges of trans-European networks, the magazine takes a closer look at European projects, including the strategic role of rail connectivity outside the EU.
Finally, there is an article on Salcef’s investment in the United States in Delta Railroad Construction Inc. and the works planned to bridge the American infrastructure gap.
