The new issue of the Salcef Group’s mobility and current affairs magazine is now available, with a focus on American investments in the railway sector.
“It’s rail o’clock. America invests in railway (also Made in Italy)” is the subtitle of the fifth issue of Sustainable Track focussing on the development of US infrastructures.
One article describes the New York subway modernization project sponsored by the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) to make infrastructure safer and more efficient. The work by Delta Railroad Construction, the Salcef Group US subsidiary, included renewing tracks and turnouts on the Queens Boulevard Line East (Qbl East).
The magazine covers a range of current affairs: the latest news from Europe, opportunities linked to Italy’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, the development of green mobility and reports from the Expo Dubai 2020.
There is also an interview with Nicola Meistro of Webuild on the Verona-Padua high-speed line construction. The Salcef Group is responsible for track and infrastructural works on this strategic project, which will reduce the distances between cities in northern Italy and make it easier to move goods by rail.
