Salcef acquires Coget Impianti
The Salcef Group develops in the railway electrification sector and grows on the Austro-German market.
On July 30th, Salcef closed the deal to acquire the entire capital of Coget Impianti S.p.A., an Italian company that has been designing, building and maintaining electrical distribution lines and overhead lines, mainly for railways, since 1983.
Coget Impianti is authorised by Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (Italian State Railways) to carry out work on overhead contact lines and high and medium voltage lines, and presents excellent financial data: in 2018, it doubled its production value through important orders in Germany and Austria.
With this acquisition, Salcef intends to consolidate its leadership in the field of railway electrification and expand into power lines for energy distribution. The Group will also be able to strengthen its growth in the Austro-German area, which began in 2018 with the acquisition of the H&M Bau.
