New projects in Sardinia and Emilia-Romagna

The Salcef Group signs two framework agreements with RFI for railway maintenance and design in Sardinia and Emilia-Romagna.
Two Salcef Group subsidiaries have recently signed framework agreements with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) for railway maintenance and design in Sardinia and Emilia-Romagna. These agreements aim to modernize and expand railway infrastructure, improving efficiency and service quality.
The first project, valued at €33 million and partially funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), focuses on railway renewal of regional lines on the island of Sardinia. These works are vital for the tourism sector and will help provide more reliable and comfortable travel for residents and tourists alike.
The second framework agreement, with a budget of €35 million, involves the executive design and implementation of noise reduction measures in Emilia-Romagna. This project aims to significantly improve environmental acoustics in the region through targeted noise containment and reduction. The planned works will significantly help reduce noise and considerably enhance the quality of the surrounding environment.
The Salcef Group, with its extensive experience and expertise in the railway infrastructure sector, is a reliable partner in these crucial projects. The Group constantly invests in innovation, efficiency, and sustainability to actively contribute to developing safe, modern railway mobility.
