Projects to modernize stations, enhance safety and sustainability, with particular attention to passenger comfort and accessibility.

In recent years, Salcef Group has contributed to the redevelopment of numerous railway stations along the Adriatic line, carrying out works on behalf of RFI – Rete Ferroviaria Italiana to make the infrastructure more functional and secure.

The projects involved stations including Osimo, Marotta-Mondolfo, Varano, Vasto San Salvo, Giulianova, Loreto, and Pescara, with works focused on platform upgrades, installation of canopies, lifts, and stairwells, to improve the overall usability of the stations.

Executive design was provided by RECO, a subsidiary of Salcef Group specialized in integrated engineering services, ensuring advanced and customized technical solutions.

Among the most recent projects, the redevelopment of Giulianova station included the installation of a new lift, a canopy with LED lighting, refurbishment of the underpass, and the adjustment of the second platform to a height of 55 cm, in compliance with European standards to facilitate train access.

These projects represent a significant step towards more inclusive and sustainable rail mobility, improving service quality and the travel experience along the Adriatic line.
