Project Description
Salcef built 110 km of double freight line and 196 km of single freight line. The company started, built and opened the first section of 264 km from Habshan to Ruwais under a year.
Scope of Work
- Construction of temporary railhead and main facilities, such as the welding plant, sleeper loading area, ballast loading area, yellow equipment workshop and management offices
- Construction of over 392 km of ballasted track on the main line and 23 km of ballasted track in the depot and set-off tracks
- Construction of 1.25 km of ballastless track
- Installation of 73 turnouts, 15 derailrers, 6 rerailers, 17 catchpoints
