Project Description
Salcef has upgraded local transport railway lines in operation with narrow gauge track, adapting railway infrastructure to standard 36 UNI rails on bi-block sleepers.
Work was carried out on the following sections:
- Sassari-Sorso
- Sassari-Alghero
- Monserrato-Isili
- Macomer-Nuoro
All the work was carried out with fully mechanized equipment.
Scope of Work
- Total renewal of 168.8 km of railway infrastructure
- Screening and removal of ballast
- Regular infrastructure maintenance
- Requalification of the station platform
- Supply of part of infrastructure materials
