Project Description
The project is part of a five-year framework agreement (2021–2026) for extraordinary maintenance works aimed at renewing the Rome tram network, including the demolition and reconstruction of track sections across several lines of the urban system.
The first implementation contract includes works on Line 8 (Viale Trastevere – Arenula), Line 3 (Via Carlo Felice) and Line 19 (Piazza del Risorgimento).
The programme aims to improve infrastructure conditions, enhance operational reliability and increase safety and comfort for public transport users.
The works involve renewal of tram track infrastructure on both ballasted track and concrete slab track, together with the replacement of turnouts and the reinstatement of road pavement along the affected sections.

Salcef’s activities include:
