We believe it is essential to have a constructive dialogue with the stakeholders interested in our actions in the ESG field such as investors, ESG rating agencies, assessment and certification bodies, customers and other stakeholders.
Therefore, on the one hand, we are committed to engaging with the main and most accredited ESG Rating agencies in order to offer our stakeholders a third-party and independent evaluation of our commitment, and on the other hand to constantly adapt the organizational structures and methodologies to the best practices in the sector, obtaining the main international and sector certifications.
ESG RATING
EcoVadis
All Salcef Group’s Italian operating companies are registered on the EcoVadis platform. This independent and internationally accredited body provides assessments on the corporate social responsibility of companies operating in over 160 countries and more than 200 sectors. It also plays an important role in supplier evaluation for RFI, Salcef Group’s main customer.
In the 2022 scorecards, Salcef Group’s 6 companies subject to analysis scored 5 platinum medals – the maximum rating, corresponding to the top 1% of the best companies in the sector – and 1 gold medal – corresponding to the top 5% of the best companies in the sector.
Every company also improved on their 2021 scores, contributing to the award of 3 new platinbum medals.

MSCI
Salcef was awarded a A rating by MSCI on 13 January 2023, an improvement on its previous BBB rating. MSCI ESG Research provides research, ratings and in-depth analyses on commercial practices linked to the environment, social and governance for thousands of companies worldwide.

ISS ESG
Salcef was awarded a C- rating by ISS ESG on 5 January 2023. ISS ESG evaluates companies’ ESG-related risks, opportunities, and impact along the corporate value chain.

The ratings are issued on the basis of public information and questionnaires sent to companies. Corporate transparency in communicating ESG performance is therefore an indispensable requirement to be included in the main ESG indices.
