Over the years, we have seen a steady increase in the workforce, with a large percentage of highly specialized personnel.
Since we began operating, the Group’s policy has always been focussed on human resources, both in terms of training and professional technical qualifications, and on information to improve health and safety.
Staff management and recruitment policy are based on principles of equality and human resource development. We value the know-how acquired over time by our workers, and at the same time we are open to giving opportunities and incentives to young people.
We believe it is important to focus on new generations, by offering them our experience and giving them responsibility. The average staff member is 43 years old and an increasing number of our workers is under the age of 35.
In 2020, we launched the Salcef for the Future project, a professional development initiative for new figures in the railway infrastructure sector, giving them the opportunity to operate in the field in direct contact with the operational management of our Group.
